Зависание при запуске. kfd: amdgpu: STONEY not supported in kfd

Когда я пытаюсь запустить archiso с флешки или arch после установки, все зависает, сменить tty не получается, в принципе ничего не работает. Могу лишь запуститься с параметром nomodeset. Также я смог запустить с acpi=off но у меня с эим параметром не работает клавиатура, поэтому я использую nomodeset. Пытался запускать другие дистрибутивы(Void, Debian, Ubuntu, Gentoo) и их устанавливать (с параметром nomodeset при запуске), но бесполезно.

Ноутбук: Lenovo Ideapad S145-15AST

Что я пытался сделать:

  • устанавливал linux-lts-5.4.27, linux-lts-6.6.25, linux-firmware-20200122 и linux-6.5, linux-6.2 с archive.archlinux
  • ставил опции grub: amdgpu.runpm=0, amdgpu.dpm=0
  • обновлял BIOS. Он был обновлен.

и в mkinitcpio в модули добавь radeon

STONEY в radeon не умеет, только amdgpu.

Странно то, что мой CARRIZO из этого же поколения без проблем работает. Может, аппаратный косяк?

Не представляю, что там у AMD с кодовыми названиями, встройка CARRIZO стоит как минимум в Bristol Ridge APU - затычках под AM4, пока AMD не выпустила Ryzen 2400G. И в radeon оно не умеет.

У меня теперь ядро не получается старое поставить, либо я не правильно это делал :0 (до этого я ставил linux-lts-5.4.27, но запускалось только с nomodeset) Я с archive.archlinux скачиваю linux-5.0.arch1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz, затем pacman -U linux-5.0..... и мне выдает:

ERROR: file not found: '/lib/modules/5.0.0-arch1-1-ARCH/modules/modules.builtin.modinfo'

error: command failed to execute correctly

Пытался ещё linux-headers-5.0 поставить а потом ядро, но безуспешно.

Просто pacman -S linux проходит успешно.

Я что то делаю не так?

Tonga - это были первые дискретки с GCN-3. Позже были другие.

Под рукой оказались исходники на linux 4.13, 5.6, 6.1, 6.2. Посмотрел, нигде нет опций для CHIP_STONEY в amdkfd. (Однако, для CHIP_CARRIZO полно настроек.) Хотя в amdgpu.c правильный pci_id присутствует, причём вроде бы ещё с linux 4.4.

Без добавления в топологию kfd карта не будет инициализирована правильно.

Там же в ядре, похоже, почему-то специально для CHIP_STONEY отключается IOMMU.

Хм, вообще говоря, GCN теряет смысл без IOMMU, возможно поэтому никто и не озаботился доведением amdkfd части для CHIP_STONEY до ума.

Тогда остаётся только использовать nomodeset для этого SoC. Имхо.

Поставил 5.9.5, тут появились новые ошибки и пропала ошибка связанная с SMU.
